SparkToro's Trending page is the first page I visit every morning when I log on to my laptop.
It's a quick look at the most-shared blog posts and digital marketing news articles across Twitter. These are curated by SparkToro members, most of which are involved in SEO in some capacity.
I love SparkToro Trending because not only is it valuable news, but it's in real-time. So the posts that show up are always very fresh and relevant. I've gotten so much beneficial information from this page that helps me shape and refine my SEO and content marketing strategies daily.
2. Search Engine Journal
Search Engine Journal is my go-to publication for SEO news.
Partly because I love their UX and branding, and as a former graphic designer that is something that is important to me. But mainly because the team at SEJ does a fantastic job of keeping readers at the forefront of both SEO news and tips for success.
3. Search Engine Land
Search Engine Land is another favorite specifically for up-to-date news on search engines.
And although their UX is a little less user-friendly than SEJ, their search engine business news is second-to-none. The SEL team is top-notch at staying on top of the business side of SEO news. They report on all major search engines, so if you're looking for SEO news that's not just about Google, this is the site for you.
4. Search Engine Roundtable
Search Engine Roundtable isn't the prettiest blog, but just like SEL, they do a great job of reporting on valuable news from the world of search.
SER is the best blog to follow if you're interested in search engine algorithm shifts as they do a really thorough job of following rankings volatility and reporting on what other SEOs are saying about their rankings.
It's a great way to stay on top of Google algorithm changes to see if they might be affecting your website.
5. Ahrefs Blog
The blog over at Ahrefs is an incredible source of useful tips to improve your SEO.
This blog won't keep you up-to-date on SEO news, but it will give you the best insights on fresh ways to boost your SEO. They also include studies that give some valuable insights to help shape your overall strategy.
